A Snowy Welcome

It’s a bright, but snowy, morning on the 23rd of January, 2019 in London. The hustle of the city maintained its beat as the word out on the street was: “Welcome to BETT!”

Snow or no snow, the Cybernetyx team is up and pumped about their exhibition on day one at BETT. Held at ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock this year, BETT, the famous annual trade show, is hosting  600 EdTech companies. This steady and popular annual trade show, hosted from the year 1985, enable ambitious EdTech businesses, like Google, Microsoft, Apple,  Promethean, LG, Smasung, Smart and Cybernetyx to come together and put their best foot–we mean–best products forward and showcase the world how technological advances can improve the way people teach and learn. By providing cutting edge devices and software, participants at BETT aim to solve some of the most pressing challenges that the education sector is currently facing.

Where We Stand?

Placed in the heart of the exhibition, at booth number E-186, team Cybernetyx gets ready for the excited attendees who flock from different parts of the world to sample different experiences from this gigantic buffet of EdTech companies that BETT hosts.

Since it’s the team’s first time at BETT, their first impression of the thriving crowd at BETT is that they people are lively, enthusiastic and most importantly, in awe of the solutions that Cybernetyx has to offer. Visitors from Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, UK, France and many such countries flooded the Cybernetyx team with queries, questions about the products and demo requests.

Problems With Too Many Devices in Classroom

The most overwhelming challenge that many educational institutions’ representatives from across the globe, visiting the booth, mentioned is the problem of too many devices in a classroom. Many of these devices come with what can only be described as a rat’s nest and now desperately need an upgrade. Whiteboards and projectors, devices which are a common in classrooms right now, need urgent upgrades. These upgrades are really expensive. What can institutions do in such a scenario? The visitors emphasised that they can’t just get rid of these devices.

One Device Classroom

When Cybernetyx opened show, visitors were very impressed by the #onedeviceclassroom solution and found an answer to their problems. The team explained to them that with their implementation of AI in their Spark devices and einsOS, the world’s first intelligent OS which runs on any leading system, Cybernetyx aims to unite classrooms with just one device.

You have a tv panel? Convert that into an interactive and collaborative device with Galileo One. You have a whiteboard gathering dust? Just use SparkTOUCH to convert that into a multi-touch interactive and collaborative surface. You have traditional classroom with just a bunch of students who have tablets or smartphones? Cybernetyx for education, can provide you SparkHUB which converts those tabs and smartphones into brainstorming and collaboration tools within seconds. These devices come with the eins.OS. While eins.OS is also being showcased individually at BETT, the Spark devices which has caught visitor’s attention have this OS, which comes with a bundle of applications which take care of curated content, teaching, attendance, performance reports, grading, and much more.

#AIforEducation

With over hundreds of people visiting and talking to the Cybernetyx representatives at BETT, which believes in AI for education, the team found some time to notice the witty mascots like the transformer Bumblebee, a vintage car and a few spaceships loitering around and enthralling  visitors with their fabulous costumes. One of the visitors at the Cybernetyx was in fact an educational representative from the French ministry who was heavily impressed by the technology being promoted at the booth. He even encouraged hordes of passing visitors to come and check out what new Cybernetyx is offering.
