ISE 2020 concluded on a high note on February 14 amid lots of exciting progress, partnerships, tech talks, training, and sessions. With lots of valuable insights and data gathered during the event, the crowd was thinning to a trickle on the last day. A few exhibitors were seen at the Main Stage Sessions featuring Thought Leadership while a few have already left to explore the beauty of Amsterdam. For a few, this was an opportunity to pack up early and have a 1:1 talk with peers for some networking.

Amid many showcased solutions, Perceptual AI was the palpable buzz at the event and on the last day, the Team from Rave Pubs, the authoritative digital news for Pro AV system integrators visited our Booth, enquiring about our different products. The Raves were enthralled with the demo of Perceptual AI devices and covered our major products – Thinker Series, EyeRIS Pro, Galileo One and Board Scan.

At ISE, Cybernetyx showcased Perceptual AI Devices for Collaboration that infuses human-like intelligence in a special set of compact devices, rich with dozens of advanced sensors and a cognitive core built-in caught the attention of many visitors. Because they can sense the environment and make decisions to assist the users on the fly, these devices emerged out as an interesting booth to hop in.

The world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration presented some brilliant concepts – tuneable LEDs to offset typical cold corporate illumination, immersive audio, voice and gesture control, and products using 5G and Wi-Fi 6.VR, AR, and MR, were presented together as XR (Extended Reality) acknowledging it as a massive opportunity for the AV industry.

In addition to this, the Professional Development Programme by CEDIA witnessed delegates across the world, who took part in different training programs and gained some valuable insights out of it. Also, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA™) hosted a jam-packed programme on Higher Education with the latest inspiring stories and practical experience from industry experts.

The huge show floor also housed – Audio and Live events showcasing audio chains – from microphones and headphones to loudspeaker systems, different sizes of digital signage for different categories, education technology to drive innovating teaching practices, residential solutions and home automation, smart building technologies, and Unified Communications with the latest in communications and collaboration technology.

Surely, ISE 2020 witnessed less footfall than previous years as exhibitors and attendees were either scared to come due to coronavirus or had travel woes from high winds and unexpected weather. Shortly after the show, Integrated Systems Europe managing director Mike Blackman confirmed that ISE 2020 had a total of 52, 000 visitors with a sharp decline of 30, 000 visitors compared to 2019.

Bid adieu to ISE 2020. See you all at ISE 2021, Barcelona, Feb 02-05, at a bigger venue and bigger booth with disruptive innovations, amazing products, and trailblazing technology.
